| Golden Ring of Russia Biking Tour |
Russia Plus and our partner in Russia, RCTC, would like to introduce a unique cycling tour of the beautiful Russian countryside, The Golden Ring of Russia.

Taking in 10 historic cities in the region southeast of Moscow, The Golden Ring of Russia is the country's most famous tourist route. On this tour, you will cycle through Vladimir, Suzdal, Yaroslavl, Kostroma, Uglich and other cities known for their ancient history and architecture. You will experience the beautiful Russian countryside, the picturesque Volga river, magnificent orthodox churches and monasteries. The bicycling begins in Pereslavl-Zalessky, or Rostov, north of Moscow, and ends in Vladimir 11 days later.
Participants in the tour can choose their own cycling pace, accompanied by experienced guides. A car will wait at appointed locations along the route and will be available to transport bicyclists who become tired. Even non-riding spouses, children or friends are welcome to follow in the car. Most of the roads along the route do not have heavy traffic and are covered with asphalt, except for one gravel road of about two miles. The Adventure tour for more advanced bicyclists takes in about 30 miles of unpaved dirt roads. |
